Target's spring game is on-point!
Check out some of the last-minute items I am throwing in my spring break bag
Target is a great option for trying a trend at an affordable price. As I am rounding out some of my items for our warm-weather Spring break trip I wanted to share some of the last minute items I am throwing in my bag.
Super fun set - Flutter Short Sleeve Blouse and Pants - A New Day
Truth is, I already wore this for a friends birthday, even though I originally bought it for the trip. When it arrived I just couldn’t let it sit in my closet. Blue and white flowers with a cute flutter-sleeved top and matching light-weight pants - I was SO happy it fit. This is one of those items, that I was worried may be a lot of flowers on my shorter frame, but the print is a fun blue and white color-way that goes with so much. And I loved it. Also, a set is so versatile because I can wear the items separately as well. A simple white tank with the pants and a fun pair of denim shorts with the top.
For styling - I added some navy espadrilles and a fun pop of pink with the earrings and it was a fun spring “night with the girls” outfit.
Petite Handle Bag
Straw Bamboo Top Handle Handbag - A New Day
Petite bags are everywhere right now, but as a Mom of three they aren’t always the most practical, you know, I have a phone, wallet, sunscreen and 27 snacks I need to carry! However, on a trip paired with some fun outfits and at an affordable price point, I decided it would be perfect.
Cateye Sunglasses
Wild Fable™ Black: Maximum UV Protection
I have two nice pairs of sunglasses from the boutique where I work, but in an effort to not ruin these too much, especially from travel, I like to bring a nice pair with me and a less expensive pair that I can throw in my beach bag or by the pool and not worry too much about them. These had a fun angle and once again, a low-cost way to try the trend.
Hair Detangler
Raw Sugar Kids' Leave-In Conditioning Detangler - Strawberry + Oat Milk
I love throwing this in our beach bag throughout the summer for my girls and for me. It is a leave-in conditioner that also detangles and allows me to get a comb through the girls hair even after a full day by the beach! It also cuts down on the washing. My youngest gets a lot of curls in the humidity so this is a must after a long day. They love the smell as well.
Active Dress
Knit Asymmetrical Pleated Active Dress - JoyLab™
I think an athletic dress is a great invention for the busy Mom. It is a change to my normal athlesiure shorts and tank. I love the one piece aspect and with shorts I am not worried about anything falling out. These are my go-to choice for sightseeing. You can add a sweatshirt around your waist for cooler days as well. I loved the detail on the skirt to make it a little more fun for spring.
Simple Slide with fun details
Elain Slide Sandals with Memory Foam insole - A New Day™
These were so cute when I saw them and they even have a memory foam sole so they will offer some comfort. I will style with a nice pair of shorts and button-down for spring and with a fun maxi on our trip.
